Footprints On Our Land

A wonderful literature-based South African curriculum which follows a Charlotte Mason approach or unit study education.  Footprints On Our Land explores South Africa’s rich heritage, culture, history, fauna and flora and geography through the most amazing historical fiction stories as well as some excellent non-fiction books.  The package includes a very flexible program outline as well as a comprehensive Language Arts which cover all the books as well as a lapbook collection for most of the themes.  It is well-suited for primary/ middle school children, ages 7-12-years.

Our Footprints map (which comes with the package) shows all the places we visited, photos of people we met, and also features the picture discs (also supplied) of all the Footprints books we read, placed in their geographical locations.  I wrote summaries of each child “Best of Footprints” experience on the top of the map which are wonderful reminders of our amazing experience.

Footprints Into The 21st Century

A wonderful literature-based South African high school curriculum featuring an exceptional collection of living books for 12-16-year-old students.  It spans South African History from the South African War, World War 1 to the first democratic elections of 1994 and the emergence of a new democratic South Africa.

South African Maths

We are South Africans and used Singapore Maths for junior and middle school Maths.  Because Singapore Maths books use American money, I created South African Coin and Note Worksheets for our junior/ middle schooler to supplement our money studies.
