Menu Planner

Practical tip of the week ~

After finding lots of inspiration on Pinterest, I finally made my own

Menu Planner

Menu Planner

Now, once a week, the girls and I will sit together and allocate meals and days and jot our menu on the white board.

Simple and practical!

  1. I’ve been using one of those magnetic dry erase notepads that has a block for every day of the week. As I do my shopping on a Saturday morning, I sit every Friday evening, working out our menu for the week to come. As I fill in the meals on the notepad, I add what ever needs to be bought on my spreadsheet. One page (printed or written out on a piece of paper) later, and I have my shopping list and menu finalised. Easy, but it takes time. My spreadsheet also has lists of meal ideas for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, etc. because I easily fall into a rut and do the same thing over and over. This way I chop and change easily.
